Classroom Expectations
1. BE RESPONSIBLE - Students will be prepared for each class meeting by bringing the following: paper, pencil, Interactive Notebook (INB), Chromebook, calculator, and homework.
2. BE PRESENT - Students will be in assigned seat before the tardy bell rings and will be ready to begin class on time.
3. BE RESPECTFUL - Students will be respectful to all members of the class, as well as all adults in the classroom at all times. Students will follow classroom procedures, including sharpening pencils before class begins and staying in seat once class starts.
4. BE PRO-ACTIVE - Students will seek help during homeroom and ask questions during class. Students will use the various online resources available on Google Classroom and on my website.
5. BE POSITIVE - Students will put forth their best effort at all times and have a "can do" attitude.
NOTE: Cell phones are not to be on during class. If a student has one on his/her person, it must be out of sight. If a cell phone rings or a text is received (making a sound), one warning will be issued. If it happens again, the phone will be confiscated.
Consequences for not meeting Classroom Expectations
If classroom behavior does not meet expectations and are a detriment to the learning environment, one or more of the following consequences will be enforced. Behavior will also be logged in the Responsibility Log.

Homework Expectations
1. Homework is due when called for by the teacher. Any assignment turned in after the class period that it is due will be placed in the "Late Homework" basket and receive a 50%. Homework is posted in the classroom and on Google Classroom.
**When a student is absent, it is his/her responsibility to get the missed assignments. Any worksheets that have been assigned can be found in the folder at the back of the classroom. If an assignment is not there, I am out of hard copies and should be printed from Google Classroom. Assignments are due within the number of days missed. Please write "Absent" at the top of the paper and turn into the "Late Homework" basket. If it is not labeled as absent, it will receive a 50%.
2. All papers must include your name and class period. If you believe you have turned in a paper and it has not received a grade, check the "No Name" papers at the front of the classroom.
3. All work MUST be shown in order to receive full credit for a problem.
4. All homework assignments are to be written in a neat legible form and MUST be completed in PENCIL.
Grading Policy
Tests and quizzes are 90% of your grade, while Homework/Class work is 10%. Observation of student effort to improve mastery must be demonstrated in order to redo/retake eligible assessments.
